This looks real nice! I like your coloring style, and actually the hands don't bug me all that much. What I think would make this piece pop a little more is adding some minor secondary lighting on the characters. The red from the guy's want could very lightly be seen in the sheen of his hair and armor. And the girl's wand could brighten her face up a little bit as well as add a highlight to the monster's left cheek. And lastly, maybe crop the picture a bit so there isn't so much space in the bottom left. Otherwise, nice piece!

I think the atmosphere would stand out a lot more if you made the canvas bigger on the left and at the top to add a little more sky and background. As it is, it's pretty much cropped and centered around the characters... but especially in fantasy art, the setting is also important... even if you're mostly doing sky and tone. So, I think a little more negative space for the background would help a lot with the composition. : ] I love their armor * 0* And the snarky look on the guy's face~ ahaha~
