Seeing as the deadline has been extended, and my bitter rival has submitted another song, so shall I. I refuse to allow him to outdo me!!! :P

I came up with a riff earlier while eating lunch, and decided to experiment with it. This vaguely speed metal-ish song resulted. I could imagine this song being used in an NES game in the area leading up to the final boss, or potentially in the battle with said final boss. I dunno. . . any place where a muddy guitar or chiptune equivalent thereof would be appropriate.

Cyril Says:

I'd say final battle. Very nice. Wow, I instantly started head banging from the very beginning. Sweet job thar!

Kulor Says:

I happened to load up the main page, and looky here, yours was the newest submission.
This is totally brutal. But man! It would benefit so much from DPCM drums! The kickbass dropping for the melody to play really loses a lot of the heaviness here.
It sounds great as-is...but you should really consider tossing in some DPCM kickbass action!

NJB Says:

I'm absolutely loving this! It reminds me a lot of David Newtons work but with a much more Game-Like feel to it.

mudbuck Says:

Intense

Shodarkhorn Says:

This was a pretty good track but you should work more on the volume for the sounds as some were TOO loud and nearly blew my speakers on only level 5 of their settings. Next was the overlay of some sounds as some did not fit together but overall this track was NOT unenjoyable as I pictured an NES game from the overall score.

I will say this was a nice trip back to NES land and its all awesome glory.

I give this track 3 stars out of 5

Sausabe Says:

You should go back to the 80s. >.> You'd win the game.

tantrum Says:

I really like how you used the triangle for the melody, that doesn`t usually happen.
