A portrait of my character Baptiste, supposed to showcase what I think of as a 'bust' picture as far as commissions go. Baptiste Duchet is an upperclass Frenchman and secretly a necromancer; he's stone-cold dead, which is why he's so pale. He takes a lot of pride in his hair, and yes, he did steal that rosary.

From the iconic heart encircled by an idle cog, to the deliciously textured crosshatched background, the meaning behind the image is clear whilst maintaining a sense of dark irony. Besides, the look on the pale faced young man is enrapturing, if not derisively charming. ;D
