Description

Introducing the Urban Zombies! And their first album, Downtown Massacre.

not a real band obviously.

I created them for a college assignment. For digital computing we had to put together 3 album covers, and the teacher gave us the choice of either taking an existing band, or creating one. I think I'm the only one who made their own band. Part of the assignment was to also print out 1 of the covers along with some inside pages and a back, but he didn't give us very good instructions on how to do it... so I have an actual album book made, but its really poorly slapped together.

Anywho. I sort of like what I came up with. I kind of just made up their designs as I drew them, and I think I drew, inked, and colored them all in a few hours the night before it was due, so excuse the sloppy drawings. Though I did intend for them to look a little more cartoony than my usual style. I've also fixed up the shading a lot. Still not amazing, but better than it looked before.

The members are; (left to right)
•Jhonny Skull; Main Singer and lead guitar. Born and raised in NYC
•Lizzy Spine; Bassist and occasionally sings. Born in London
•Femur; The drummer. He never speaks, so no-one knows anything about him.

I was gonna have a 4th member, but I was short on time to draw. I'll probably add one if I ever draw these guys again.

I might do a short comic with them. Not too likely, but I figure I need some backup ideas for comics next year

I think this is my favorite of the three, if only because it gives the best look of the characters.

They're all pretty bad-ass, though. Awesome job.
