Putting down a book of research on the Realm of Shadows, Zexion sighed at the notice on his desk. The Superior demanded everyone start undergoing a training schedule, forcing them to practice fight each other. Zexion didn't care for battling. Not because he wasn't good at it, but because he avoided it when he could. (He wasn't that great at it, though.) All he had was his Lexicon... and he knew he could disguise himself as other people. Neither were good at battling. For nothing's sake, the Lexicon was tool best meant to be used outside the battling field. It was a beacon of knowledge, not something to chuck at people!

He planted his elbows on the table and looked at his book, as if asking it what to do. "I need to learn something more I can do with my powers. Something useful I can battle with!"

Zexion then proceeded to bury his face in his hand and groan in a frustrated manner. A shaking under his elbow made him stop. How curious. Upon the removal of his elbow, the Lexicon sprang to life, opening, and after a flutter of many pages, it came to a rest. Zexion stared at the pages laid out before him.

It wasn't at all unusual for him to find pages he'd never seen in his Lexicon before - the book tended to have a mind of its own and changed like weather. Enchanted things always had quite the personality. Zexion skimmed down the pages and smirked. It's also worth mentioning that enchanted things also tend to be quite intelligent. The Lexicon's owner smirked and cast the new spell that the book had revealed. He would now be able to make himself shadow clones that would confuse his opponents, making them unsure of where their real opponent was. A useful advantage indeed...

On the other side of the desk three clouds began to form. Following familiar blunette hair came heads and shoulders identical to his own. These shadow copies stared at him very blankly at first, but then eyed him with eyes that sparkled with intelligence and unnerving deep understanding.

Zexion began to finish the spell, but before he could all three cast themselves upon him like heartless to a heart, knocking him out of his chair and unto the floor. The Lexicon fell also and landed in an uncomfortable looking heap (that is, if books could feel?). Zexion grabbed for the book and scooped it up. The page was gone!

But he had more important things to concern himself with. Because that's when his shadow spawns began to whisper the most provocative things...

*

Three hours later, not that the Cloaked Schemer could tell (and cloaked he was, in darkness that is... because certainly nothing -else- covered him), he lay panting. He giggled in slight hysteria. One of the shadow clones purred back in his ear in response.

His copies were impressive, but not in ways he had been intending. They'd be a great success in battle, he supposed, if he wanted to sexually harass his opponent, that is. No, certainly not... hmmm... but, he didn't think he'd be disposing of them for their lack of dueling potential. They had... much potential... elsewhere...
