Zero, Legendary Reploid Chapter 6

Sky was frozen out of surprise, especially when Weil spoke to her. "So, your the daughter of that old friend of mine... I guess I should thank him, especially for giving me all the information I needed, and for creating that weapon.... Now, Sky, where might that weapon be....?" he asked tauntingly, knowing that he had her cornered, and that Omega was doing a very good job as a distraction for their real purpose of the attack.

"Hidden from you, at the very least!", she'd snapped back at him, but then her eyes and grown wide with horror, realizing that she shouldn't of said that. "Alright, then I'll have to get that information by force.... elsewhere." He'd said, and a reploid had come up behind her, hitting her in the back of her neck, causing her to go uncounsious, and had then picked her up. "Let's head back to base. Tell Omega that we got what we need, and that he should return to base as soon as possible.".
"Yes, Lord Weil.", the reploid replied, and with that, Weil, Sky, and the reploid all teleported out of the area, back to Weil's base.

Back to Omega and the others...

Zero slashed at Omega, who dodged him with ease. He dodged a volly of buster shots that had been sent at him by X and Fefnir, and a few kunai from Phantom, shortly followed by a few slices from Leviathan's Halberd and Harpuia's Twin Dual Sabers, but he'd merely side-stepped or ducked to avoid them. He could tell that they'd known that he honestly hadn't been that weak, but had taken advantage of the chance to deal some real damage to him. He smiled an evil grin, and announced, "Alright, play time's over! Now to get serious!", and then dashed towards them, faster than before, and slashed at them, cutting into Zero's right arm, and sent a few energy waves towards X and Fefnir, managing to deal some damage to them. He'd jumped back to avoid being hit by kunai, cut Leviathan's left arm when she'd tried to dodge his attack, and blocked Harpuia's attacks.

Zero, X, and the guardians all jumped back, all knowing that something was wrong. Omega didn't usually play around with his opponents unless it was for a distraction, but they did't know what the distraction was for. They were starting to get a little more cautious because of that, and because they were starting to run low on energy. The rest of the Neo Arcadian forces had wiped out all of the other Mavericks, and they had retreated to the main building for repairs and new orders.

Omega dashed towards Zero, ready to attack, but stopped in his tracks when his com link went off. "Omega, we have what we need, return to base ASAP.", was all his operator's orders were, but her knew that they were Weil's orders, and was obliged to follow them. He sighed, and deactivated his saber, and turned towards Zero, X, Harpuia, Leviathan, Phantom, and Fefnir. "It seems like you all lucked out. I had fun. Later!" He'd called out to them, as he was transported back to Weil's base, leaving them all with surprised faces.

X sighed, and shook is head. "Phantom, Leviathan, get a status report on any casualties and deaths, and the amount of damage." he ordered, and Phantom and Leviathan dashed off to follow orders. "Fefnir, Harpuia, check for any trapped citizens and for any remaining Mavericks.", Harpuia and Fefnir nodded, and dashed off to follow their orders, as well. "Zero, it seems that there is more to this than we thought." he said, turning towards Zero, who simply nodded. "I'm going to return to the Resistance Base. I might as well see if any Mavericks went after the Resistance while I was gone.", Zero said turning on his com link and spoke to Ciel, who transported him back to the Resistance's Base. Turning, X dashed towards the main building, wanting to know the four guardians' reports.

At Resistance Base...

Ciel waited for the transport to be complete, then ran up to the damaged Zero and greeted him with the medical team that had come to repair him. He'd told her what had happened, and they knew that this was the time to work together with Neo Arcadia. As soon as Zero was fully repaired, they'd gone to the Control Room to see if the Operators could find any information of what Weil was planning.

Praxis scowled at Starlight, of whom had been dragging him across the desert for a full week now, until they finally came to a hidden oasis, with a small house in it. He saw a female reploid come out of the front door. She had hamster ears and a hamster's stubby tail, and had a green Operator's outfit. She saw them and ran over to greet them. "Hey! It's been a while Starlight. Where's Sky, and whose this?" she'd asked, petting Starlight, and looking up and Praxis in a kind of greeting. He'd smiled, and said, "My name is Praxis Dante, but Praxis is fine. I'm not sure where Sky is, but Starlight here has been dragging me across the desert for a week now!", he'd said, making sure his voice was some-what accusing towards Starlight when he'd mentioned her. Starlight had abruptly stopped purring happily and growled at him, obviously not happy with the fact that he was still complaining. The girl laughed, then said, "It's nice to meet you, Praxis. My name is Hammie.", and picked up Starlight -causing Star to whine in protest- and headed towards her house. "Well, you might as well come inside and rest for a bit.", she'd said as she opened the door, allowing Praxis to get in. "Thanks..." he'd muttered. He'd suddenly gotten a feeling that something bad was going to happen, and he was sure that Hammie and Starlight had gotten it, too- it showed on their faces.

At Weil's base...

Omega had gone in for repairs, and Weil had sat down on his "throne" and looked at Sky, of whom had regained consiousness, and had been chained to a wall facing Weil, for the obvious reasons of pure entertainment and information collecting. There were some screens to her left showing what the Resistance was doing, what X and the guardians were doing to repair the damaged utopia, and Praxis, Star, and Hammie; however, it had no sound.
