father can you hear me?

I used to look up to you
But as time went by
I hope you saw the
Disappointment in my eyes
As you beat me down
When I needed you the most.

I wish you could see
What you’ve done to me.
Daddy, my spirit is
Ripped, torn, forlorn.
I try to stand on
my own two feet
and have a voice.
I try to look into
Your scorn-filled eyes
And love you anyway.

Father I hope you see
The disappointment in my eyes
As I cry
the sorrows to the sky
and my burning tears
run down my face
hitting the ground with rage.

Time goes by and I hope
You know what you’re doing
Because I cant pretend anymore,
Father, that I love you.

It's really a beautiful piece of work.

Overflowing with emotion, and spilling all over the reader.

Nice work, Tora.
