This evening, this little girl at the grocery store was watching me shade her, and said it was cool, and she sat next to me and offered some Disney Princess Fruit Snacks.
I declined, but thanked her.
I said, 'This lady needs a name. Do you know any good girl names?'
She thought for a while.
I asked, 'What's YOUR name?'
She said, Monse.
[Mon-suh]
'Spell it', I asked.
She did.
I looked at the name.
Coolio.
I said, 'This is now her name, officially.'
I think she smiled. Maybe not.
I should've asked if it was okay.
I didn't. Then she said bye to me and left with her mom.
