My Spore Spawns

I recently discovered that Maxis is nearing completion on Spore, and has released a creature creator. I bought the full version and tried it out. The creator itself is tons of fun, I can't wait to waste money and free time on the full game.

Spotted Pigmy Demon

This little creature is the stuff of nightmares. When the game comes out these creatures will probably be my try at an "evil" species, conquering or destroying any alien race I happen to run into.


Plated Crab

This was my first attempt at a convincing inverterbrate. I'm a big fan of crabs. I had a few as pets and I've found them to be interesting creatures. Tasty too.


The Egglet

This was an attempt at a cutesy diplomatic creature. This creature has maxxed out its diplomatic abilities and will be my attempt at a warm, fuzzy, purely diplomatic sepecies. It would be my only option with the egglets, because they're just bitesize little bundles of joy with no military capability.


The Billman

An attempt at a halfway normal humanoid with a normal looking chest, and what an abhorration it is. The billman has a very humanlike anatomy, with proper looking muscles, legs, and... boobs. I didn't intend to give them boobies, but the computer seemed to think that they need to bounce when this poor creature runs. Yes, the boobs do, in fact, bounce. I don't know what to do with this creature, maybe I should euthanize it to preserve the sanctity of the universe?

It's like a normal duck, but IN SPACE!


Miniature Giant Space Hamster

Speaking of space dwelling creatures, I yoinked this idea from the Baldur's Gate series. This, is my take on a miniature giant space hamster. I couldn't get the limbs any smaller, so this is the closetst I could get. I will definitely try these guys out when the full game comes out.
