Yeah, the white dots at the edge of the coloring are somewhat annoying.
What if you tried putting the lineart layer above the color layer and then colored? I think you're using that Wand tool that selects parts of the wolf, and then filling them in.. somewhere there's an option to Expand the dotted lines so you can color without getting those white dots where the lineart starts.
