Class 5 - Short film layout

For this assignment I was to begin thinking up my short film, plan out a few stories, pick out my favorite, and start bringing it to life.

I decided to go the mushy route in an attempt to avoid the cliches that other people were gonna use. The main thing i'd like to mention about this is that it was quite an interesting experience when it comes to making a story from scratch. I never considered myself good at compiling stories, but I like to think I got the idea of this film off where you can tell what's going on, even without having to read this.

I would like to point out that I can't rig for beans. Because I back up all my modeling attempts with no knowledge whatsoever and that I know nobody that can make 3D models I had to go the "Buy your props" route. In the long run I think it was worth it (even though this put a pretty sizeable hole in my wallet), considering that the tree I found was exactly what I needed for this story to work.

Before you ask, this is only the half done version and I won't be doing the inbetweens until class 6.
