Here's Synchra! I used to draw with heavy black ink outlines, then color in colored pencil with heavy strokes, and then blend the heck out of everything. I thought that technique might lend itself well to the stylized, almost cartoony look I was going for in this pic.
Though I tried to stay true to her markings, I did take some liberties (like with her hair). I let the color of the toned paper show through a bit, too. It's not as polished as my other stuff, and as always I want to re-do things now, but it was fun.
Prismacolor and Design colored pencils, colorless blender, Micron pen on toned cardstock. Some touch-ups (and background tones) in Photoshop 7.

Probably some of the most intense colours I've seen you ever use. The differing line thicknesses is something I could never master. Highlights on the chain and eyes are stunning!
