I drew a picture a long time ago (http://www.sheezyart.com/view/1168650/) for a pokemon contest... thing. I looked over the design again, realized I really liked it, and just decided to steal it and run with it. It doesn't look too much like a pokemon anyway.
Regardless, it was also a good experiment since my boyfriend's been yelling at me to "put more texture into your linework." The goal of this picture was to be able to guess what material everything was just through the linework alone.
I'm happy with it, at least, even if fur is a bitch. D:

Alright I'll try to guess.
Right arm is some kind of horn/shell like the tip of the tail, the left arm is pretty thick skin.
The legs are way softer with short haired fur so are the ail and the arms. The long fur is obvious of corse so are the metal helmed and neck. I'm pending with the shoulders if it's also metal or leather.
The clape is thick but worn out fabric. and that's all.
I know my comment is useless till now so I just say I like the design and it's a nicely done picture. ^^

Boo on the boyfriend for talking trash about your lines. I think the detail in your lineart has always been great. And this is gooood lineart too. Boys are smelly anyway.
