Credits theme for that ZX-Spectrum styled game!
Mathgrant and I were talking about how easy it is to get uber-popular by using the chords from Pachelbel's Canon, so I decided to poke fun at that before going into my usual thing.
See! I used the chords, now make me popular!!
Made to the specifications of a fictional soundchip of my own design, capable of:
1 channel of 50-harmonic additive synthesis
1 channel of programmable "multiplicative synthesis", a synthesizing method of my own design
1 channel of square wave with a programmable rise/fall time for each half
1 channel of square wave with a programmable duty cycle
1 channel of noise in various colors, sampled from a radio source; capable of halting to produce a randomly-generated tone
1 channel of delta-PCM samples
I'll probably submit something soon explaining the specifics, but for now feel free to ask any questions.
.XM unavailable due to it being a game project. :(
EDIT 2: nvm

And this is real music! Don't let anybody tell you otherwise! XP

The part that kicked in around 1:12 is nice. I definitely love the whole thing-- very worthy of end credits!
...that's dispicable that any contest WOULDN'T accept chiptune music!... well, unless it was specifically for authentic instruments like trumpets or guitars or something. That I respect. But in general, and ESPECIALLY when other people are composing music electronically and whatnot, no chiptune should be tossed aside just because it sounds retro. In fact, we need more chiptune remixes of NEWER songs just as badly as vice-versa! D:<

.... Nice job with the chord progression, PACHABELLLLLLLL Mutated!
... I think that's bull. This is certainly real music, its like the sonnet of music. You have a certain set of sounds you can work with, but no more, and you have to make it as ful-filling as you can without that. You certainly did that. So I dunno, I think you may be thinking of OCRemix, but I'd like to point out that this is NOT OCR... okay?
