Some weird drawing to sort of show the mind of a cartoonist (or most any artist in general) at work. Basically used the imagery of the "gears of the mind" working, to produce ideas. The machine is pointlessly complicated to show that basically one can pointlessly wrack their brain to produce just one idea. In fact (and I think this is common to most cartoonists/artists) most of the ideas one comes up are total crap, but occasionally you get that one brilliant idea that you use. The trick is being able to identify which ideas are good and which are crap. Sometimes I succeed at this, and sometimes... well... I don't....
