This is Izzy (and her life story)

Izzy was born normal and has lived a pretty normal life for most of it. Her father was in the military so they moved around the world a lot. When Izzy was 16, she and her father moved and settled in the panama canal.

Their she made a good friend named Louis. Louis was a bit impulsive and loved the smell of tobacco smoke. His grandfather had a extensive collection of pipes, some were so old they would have fell apart if his grandfather hadn't taken great care to preserve them. One night Louis wanted to try the pipes himself, he convinced Izzy to try some as well. Louis insists on using the oldest pipe his grandfather had, which was also strangely in pristine condition. The pipe is bone white and simply made with several symbols that adorn the pipes surface. After preparing the pipe and toking a bit (and coughing a hell of a lot) he hands the pipe to Izzy. She takes a small breath of smoke and is suddenly completely at ease, not coughing a bit. She takes another breath of smoke and just keeps going not noticing Louis's horrified expression.

The smoke had enveloped her as she transformed into a smoke oozing beast. Oblivious to Louis she kept smoking till the pipe was spent, crumbling to ashes blown away by the wind. Shocked she turns to Louis to apologize for breaking his grandfathers pipe, finally noticing that Louis was face down on the floor. Izzy thinking that he fell asleep, was about to give him a good poke when she saw that her hands weren't really hands anymore. Izzy was terrified and she did the only logical thing a 16 year old would do she fainted.

When she was awoke the next morning, She found herself in a hospital and human(with some changes). She had grown 6 inches and had a small grey stone affixed right between the eyes. Her eyes became permanently crossed and she now sported pointed ears. Louis was in a coma and not show any signs of waking up any time soon.

Over the next few months she is getting used to her *condition*. Her father was over seas at the time so she never had to tell him. She found that every night she transformed into a smog oozing demon while during the day time she shifted back to being human. Sometimes when it gets really misty outside it cause her to shift to her demon form.

Over the years, she learned to hide her condition very well and is now a barista in a local coffee shop in Bridgeport. She makes a very good cup of joe ;D
