A far superior mix in comparison with my previous one (which was, oh, say, about eleven seconds long or so, no thanks to faulty hardware); there were still a number of problems with this one, having the compressor fail and the end fade not work, but heck. It's at least a larger improvement. In addition, the cymbal idea failed horribly, as it lasted too long (curse you, reverbs!), but heck. It was better than maracas being substituted.
...Or was it?
Feh.
As for good news, the drum took me thirty minutes to find out, but I got the correct amount of filtering and whammo, mutilated the original sound into something more fitting to the song. Moreover, there are
stereo base instruments.

In my opinion, the drum sounds close to the one used, but heck. Better than presets. In other news, I tried to use audio recognition for instrumentalizing the vocals, which failed miserably. Instead, I did one or two segments with an Electric preset, and just stuck it out there. I'm way too lazy to hand transcode all of the notes sang. Perhaps I'll remix this one yet again in the future when I'm done managing school and a job.
Peace out, enjoy.
