Lucifer's Touch (Part 3- rewritten)

Several hours later, I woke. I couldn't see straight, and I only knew two things about what was happening- I was in a cave with an insane cult leader, and I couldn't move my arms. I closed my eyes and pretended to be under, while figuring out how the fuck I got into this situation and how the I was going to get out of here. My arms were tied down by some very heavy metal cuffs, that not only were attached to my wrists, but covered my arms halfway to my elbow, There were also two larger cuffs, one covering my chest and wings, the other covering my abs that kept me from launching myself into the air.

I looked around my surroundings. I was in a smaller cave or tunnel, and there were no people, no furniture and no way out that I could see. I could feel with my demon sense that someone was hanging around and watching me. As I struggled to turn my head, I noticed who it was- Kel. I kept my breathing even. There was something that really disturbed me about that kid. There was a strange look in his eyes that makes me quite worried, a look of total submission and total aggression, a combination that didn't seem quite right. Most of the Cult just looked and smelled slightly zombified, but Kel really and truly believed in the garbage that Eirnin spewed forward from his mouth. I've met quite a few religious wackjobs in my time, but Kel might be the worst of them.

I sniffed the air quietly, just enough not to raise Kel's suspicions. I smelt Kel's twin sins of lust and wraith quite clearly. If I had inhaled any deeper, I would get drunk off the sensation. There was one thing that I must commend to Eirnin- he sure knows how to raise a nice free-range farm for me.

"Did you rest well?" Kel sneered, putting his face close to mine. I tried to keep my face as neutral as possible, but one little twitch of my nose gave it away. Kel noticed and pounced on me, looking as threatening as his skinny figure would let him. He stared at me for a full half second before he yelled out in his whiny voice. "MASTER! The demon is awake!" I rolled my eyes. There was no use in pretending anymore, is there?

I looked around at my chains. As far as I could see, they were attached into the rock walls of the cavern. I was a strong demon, but trying to pull my chains out was impossible. We were buried underneath tonnes of rock, and I didn't want to cause an earthquake, because being buried underneath rubble with no air or access to souls and sex would kill me just as well as any puny human. My thoughts were interrupted as Kel started to speak to me.

"Now don't play stupid games with me. I'm too smart for that." Kel gloated, as he hovered around my face. I considered head butting him before realising that was a precious waste of resources. Already, I was starting to find Kel to be an annoying little prick, but it was his beloved Master that I needed to defeat.

"Why would I want to play any games with you? You're a nothing, a toy to some idiot who's been brainwashed by a small little man!" I said, making no sense while trying to keep my voice steady and our eyes locked. I don't know how well my incubus charms would work on this brainwashed minion but it was worth a try. Kel just gave a funny half-smile and walked towards me slowly. I struggled against my bonds but it was no use. Kel was in front of me holding a device that looked suspiciously like a remote control. After the shit that I've been through, I knew that this wouldn't be good.

"I think you look quite nice there, with your blood dripping down that stomach. But that's not gonna save you from the Master's wrath" Kel purred, totally ignorant to the fact that I had just spoken. He ran his hand down my front, as a weird shiver crept across my chest. I don't know what Kel was playing at, but there was something that stirred my deep lusts. For a second I ignored the irritation that was Eirnin and stared at Kel. He was looking at me quite intensely and I wasn't quite sure why. I could smell his lusts quite clearly now, a cocktail of the sexual and the wrathful.

"KEL!" roared Eirnin. Kel jumped and scuttled towards his Master, only pausing to bow in submission to a deluded human. After watching him kiss the ground for about two minutes, I got bored. Eirnin stood proud and tall, his sword and cape making him seem almost impressive against the cavern walls. He turned to his cowering follower and proceeded to talk.

"I see the demon is awake. Perhaps it is time to…prepare him" Eirnin said through tight thin lips, adding unnecessary dramatic pauses to his already irritating speeches that were addressed to no-one in particular. I had my head down in his presence so he couldn't see me roll my eyes skywards. I really swear I am going to strangle that man. Not for tying me up or anything like that, just because he had delusions of adequacy. I looked up once I knew it was safe to do so. Eirnin scowled at me, as he continued being nothing more than a cheap villain. He made an upwards gesture with his hands and Kel rose. I looked closer at Kel, wondering if I could see his strings.

"So how did we get this little bugger? Did a mere demon think he could take on the might of the Eternal Master?" He spat an inch from my face. Kel said nothing, his eyes quickly darting from me back to Eirnin. I felt like pointing out the whole I-am-a-demon-and-it's-obvious-you're-not thing. But size doesn't matter too much when you can't move, so I said nothing.

After a few minutes, the Master seemed to deem me worthy of being spoken to directly by His Dickheadness. I controlled my breathing to make sure that I didn't lose it while I wasn't quite sure what Kel/Anrio/Eirnin/Brainwashed Minion #43 did to me while I was under, but you could be sure that I wasn't going to like it.

"So. Demon. Ready to repent and submit to the Master of All?" He said in such a slow and delicate voice, making sure that I understood every single syllable and letter... I nearly gagged at his pompous titles. I bit my tongue to make sure that I didn't laugh, and raised my head and looked Eirnin in the eye. It was now time to declare my true feelings for him and his beloved movement. Taking a deep breath, I told him one thing and one thing only.

"Go fuck yourself" I spat at Eirnin, letting a grin spread across my own face. Sure, I might've been chained to several tonnes of stone, but that didn't stop me from giving the "Master" a steely gaze. I could see dark clouds of anger crossing his already lined face. His knuckles turned white and I could tell that he was about to explode. I could take pain. I wanted to take pain. I wanted to show the smug little shit that what he did didn't matter one iota to me. All that mattered was that he would realise what he was messing with.

"Okay Demon. Let's get a few things straight. One, I rule this place. Two, you're not leaving!" Eirnin roared just a few inches from my face. He was really starting to look like he was about to explode. I kept a calm look on my face, knowing that pushes everyone's buttons even more than yelling. I was ready for him… waiting to see if I could make my escape before someone in Hell found out about this whole being-captured-by-a-human business. That is the kind of incident that I so didn't want going on my record. So I played the few cards I had left.

"What makes you think that I'm not gonna fly off and leave?" I growled, knowing that my chains were the only thing that was stopping me from leaving. Because the second that even one chain was taken off me and I had regained my strength, I was so gone.

"Because I left a few nice surprises in you. Those cuffs on your arms for one. I bet you want to know what they're used for." Eirnin asked in a mocking tone. I wanted to kill him. I could end this now, all I needed to do was unchain myself and bash his head in. Eirnin's face took on a slight grin as I started to sweat. The sweat rolled down my exposed chest and was (thank goodness) starting to clear away some of the dried blood on my body, making sure I looked sexy once more.

"Not saying anything? I'm surprised. You've been spouting smart-arsed dribble ever since you got here!" Eirnin yelled, starting to move back into egomaniacal territory once more. "PREHAPS NOW YOU SHALL LEARN HUMILITY AND OBDIENCE TOWARDS YOUR MASTER!" He continued, placing his fingers underneath his chin. With Kel by his side, he was starting to look a lot like the cheap nasty villain he was.

"Why don't you get out of my fucking face and let me out of here?" I growled. Yeah, it did sound lame but I'd run out of funny one-liners. Eirnin and Kel just looked at each other and chuckled softly. Not the reaction I was expecting to come from a human after they'd been threatened by a big scary demon. But what I said must've had a reaction as Kel came over and pressed a button on the wall that released the chains from my arms, legs and wings. I flinched as my sensitive ears heard the sound of them clattering to the ground. I rose to my full seven feet, towering over Kel and slightly taller than Eirnin. I stretched my wings to try and loosen them as Eirnin and Kel watched on.

"TRY AND STOP ME, FUCKERS!" I yelled as I started to flap my wings. They appeared to be working, and I was starting to take off from the ground.

Just at that moment, I felt a twinge of pain coming from my stomach and spreading across my body. My heart rose and I reached out towards the light above, trying to flap my wings faster. My wings were starting to feel like the heaviest thing in the Three Worlds, but I burst up towards the light hopeful of freedom. I bit my teeth together but it was no use. I reached out with my arms to the ledge, but it was too late.

I was paralysed. I couldn't flap my wings or move my head. You know on those cartoons where the characters just stop in mid-air before they start falling? Well it was a little like that. I crashed down in a sea of pain. Every muscle in my body felt as though it was on fire and I can honestly say I'd not been in that much pain for a long time. Just before my eyes fluttered closed, I could see the other cultists bowing as Eirnin made his way towards me.

"RISE IN THE NAME OF YOUR MASTER!" Eirnin roared once more, an inch from my face. I looked at the ground, then back at the pulsing purple veins that made up Eirnin's face. Surrounding us was a sea of Cultists, blocking every single cavern. The hole in the ceiling was still there, the light mocking me with promises of freedom.

I rose in the name of the screaming lunatic and kept my focus. We were in a larger cave that was closer to the surface. It was hard to estimate exactly how many Cultists were standing around surrounding me, but I guessed it was about thirty. Since my life isn't a kung fu movie, I can't just bash the crap out of the humans one at a time, while the others stand in the background just staring at me. Nope, it's just like fighting a swarm of ants. Sure, you're bigger, stronger and smarter than them, but you can't kill them.

"Now, you shall…SUBMIT!" Eirnin roared in front of my face once more. With the cult watching and the smell of defeat rushing round my mouth, I dropped to the ground. With most of my muscles still not working properly, it was a bit of a relief not to have to support my own body weight. I let my nose touch the ground, and let it stay there for a few seconds. Not much to say about that except Eirnin really should keep his floor cleaner if he wanted his cultists to worship him.

"There. Isn't that better? The Unbeliever has finally submitted to his Master." Eirnin gloated as he looked down as I lay prostate in front of the entire cult. I repeated this process several times to make sure that they were totally fooled, while letting a small sly smile overtake my face as I looked around this cult, this cult that I was going to make my own.

Radical JoJo Says:

You've got a few inconsistencies of what Vel is thinking. He keeps going back and forth between scoffing at Kel and Eirnin, and actually seeing them as a threat. Which is it?
