Hello,
This is the 4th and final movement of my violinsonata in g minor. After a total of about half a year the circle is closed and the composition is completely finished. Funny, from the moment I started I knew what I wanted to create and I had the structure planned in my head, and the outcome is exactly as I thought it would be.
The last movement is a set of Variations. The violin starts with the theme solistic, the theme is remnant to the opening statements of the first movement in chordal structure. The piano then kicks in, in the first variation and a densening of tenstion follows. After a fiery variation in which the piano plays the main part there follows a slow variation *poco adagio* which I myself particularily like. Then there is a 7/8 variation as to look back on the scherzino *with respect of metre*. The final statement of the theme is once again on the violin solo with the piano only joining in the last 2 chords.
Enjoy.
