The only answer is of course, to wait and see. After Sonic '06 it's hard to trust Sonic Team to even know how to tie their shoes. It's sad that just about anyone but Sonic Team could probably make this work, but guess who's the only ones who get to try?...
Though the idea that it'll combine elements of Rush is enough to make me (very) cautiously optimistic. I'll reserve excitement for when and if the game is actually functional.
Yeah i heard about the new one too, and how theyre hoping it will be the best....
Sadly i havent bought a sonic game since Heroes.........(i dont have any DS versions of Sonic either) and am losing hope for the poor blue blur. TT__TT (which i liked since i was like 5 years old)

LOL! I can bet this game will be good, especially the Wii version. (I have a Wii at home. No X-Box 360 or PS3.) I enjoyed Sonic and the Secret Rings!
