Diary of a Madman: Chapter II

Dear Diary,
It has been a long time
Hasn't it?
No doubt you've missed me
Quite a bit.

Say, Diary,
I've been wondering
For a while:
Who do you think
First measured a mile?

Oh, Diary,
The honest truth
(And truth be told):
All my friends
Have grown so old.

Yes, Diary,
Thay all have left.
My mind is free.
One "magic pill"
And it's only me.

Oh, Diary,
Why'd he take
My friends away?
"It was his fault,"
The spiders say.

No, Diary,
We're not
Alone.
But time will tell
If they'll come home.

Say, Diary,
I've been wondering
For a while:
What is it exactly
That makes you smile?

Goodbye, Diary,
My time is spent.
I'll leave you be
And thank you for
Remembering me.

P.S., Diary,
If ever we
Should meet again,
Remember me:
Your dearest Stephen.

It has been a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooong ass time since I've even thought of this. I remember I submitted the first part a long time ago, but I never got around to writing any more of it. Good thing Summer's here, otherwise I'd have never remembered.

Interesting.

EbonyWhite321 Says:

ummmm.

Asmo Says:

intriguing. however this is most accurately defined as the personal feelings of a delusional drug addict.
a madman would have far more violent thoughts, and, of course, would not write in a diary.
