Ours has NEVER overheated.
We live in Texas -- 1oo degree weather, most summer days -- and my brothers play for HOURS,
And its just fine.
Its not like our AC is always up and running, either.

That's not a good reason to make the conclusion that 360's suck.
Hardware failure really isn't that big of a deal, I've only had it happen once and i've had my 360 for well over 2 years now.
