This piece portrays the musical styles of a race within my fictional world. Despite having been the first race on the planet, they did not invent musical and borrowed heavily off a race that had been closely associated with them for some time in the past.

Their culture hinges on the personal strengths of each family and a deep connection to all things war-like. Therefore to portray this, their style of musical heavily rotates around an all-male vocal choir to act as a main theme and progression while a single female soloist adds natural lead to the peice. Heavy toms call back to their reason for creation, that being to fight and the added flute (named a 'pantium' in their langauge)harken to the origins of music from the 'Felarn'.

Chippychan Says:

wow, what are you using for the choir? It reminds me of the first Dark Cloud game so much. I love it. Such intensity in the drums and the metal clangs.

DarKsidE Says:

Nice and calm. Is the heavy/muddy feel of the percussions intended or is it because of the overusage of the fx?
