My Family

I love my family,
I really do!
I cherish all of them,
I swear it’s true!

My mom she never ceases to yell
Early and even before dawn
But without her who could tell
Which clothes I would put on

My dad always gives me chores to do
“Sweep the floor & pick up those clothes!”
But if he stopped I wouldn’t know what to do
But lay around and doze

My brother Zach has a funny way
Of inventing new insults for me
But every once in a while, he says, “Hey,
We’re always there for each other, aren’t we?”

My brother Drew is a silly one
He constantly attempts crazy things
But around him I always have fun
With the all the adventure he brings

For a long time, my family has been strange
It seems the craziness never ceases
But none of us, I’d ever change
‘Cuz we fit together like puzzle pieces
