UUUUUUUUUUGH, I'm no good at backgrounds.
Anyway, I thought the concept behind Pikmin was very science-fiction-pulp comic from the before times.
I used an old picture of Superman as reference to get the "Rugged spaceman" look for Olimar.
Olimar and the Pikmin belong to Nintendo.
