Jeez, this guy was not prepared for a massive zombie outbreak, he probably wasn't even out of bed. Thats the problem with living on the first floor, they have difficulties with stairs (not unlike old-school Daleks, so really, what I'm saying is my death better be related to Daleks or zombies. Pick it, live it, like it.) He probably went without much of a fight though, who is chipper enough to know exactly what to do when zombies come crashing into your room? Not I.
