5-6 years ago i was way into skies of arcadia and i drew a lot of fanart for it (if you look around you can find some pretty embarrassing stuff). on my forums there's a new contest to
redo an old drawing. i was going to find something really really awful but instead i picked this one which i thought was one of my best pieces back when i drew it. they're both sketches but they're more refined. so i redrew it tonight to see how much better i could draw the character Drachma from the game. i think i've come a long way since then - not just with drawing but also the genre of my work.

Skies of Arcadia is the SHIT. Possibly the best game for Dreamcast but I still have yet to beat it.

Anyways, the most obvious difference to me is the shading. It's mixed really well in the newer one in comparison to the older one. Muscle and armour detailing are amazing as well. You have improved quite a bit.
