The basics of this picture is that I wanted to draw something to get out of my artistic slump.
I saw this picture of a girl posing similarly in this way and I wanted to imitate that but with a totally different character and a bit fancier.
I really wanted to practice on doing the eyes CG rather than by pen for a change.
I think the kid looks oddly like Zel but it's not. This lil cherub boy is too young to be him.

Your drawing is just beautiful and inspiring. The Character looks lovely and every detail seems to be perfectly good. And then that background just is such a lovely finishing touch on it all.
If you ask me you could sell this as an artpiece for in peoples living room, As long if they give you the credit ofcourse
