Description taken from my DeviantART page: (cuz I'm lazy shut up!)
So here's Ronin style number 2, inspired by Ian McCaig's style of concept art, and I pretty much followed his process thanks to his Gnomon Workshop DVD.
The inspirational elements that went into making Ronin again after two years was to make him a mix of bobcat and rabbit, then of course a lot of new story related stuff. So I took the basic part of "bobcat + rabbit = ronin" allowing me to go off on a tangent and create something different. I'm pretty proud of this one here. Seems like every day I'm getting steps closer to making stuff I can really be proud of all the time. For instance, I think this is probably the best lighting I've yet had in a piece, plus a good amount of detail (it's mostly in the face). Let's hope this motivation and skill keeps up, shall we?
Explanation: for an assignment we were supposed to take a character and draw them in 3 different styles, and I chose my character Ronin for the experiment, and this one was the best of the bunch, which also had the most time put into it.

He's really cool, I like his feet. Very nice presentation here as well.

I like the exaggeration of features here normally not found in anthro art, like the legs in proportion to the torso. Very nice.
