Finally got to draw my girlfriends character Hanako. ^__^
She asked me to draw her older, sprawled ona table eating some grapes. Think I took it too far out of context?

But yeah, i love drawing her, especially when I get the chance to draw her old and sexy.
The technicality in this one was to make the corset have a partly see-through portion all the way accross her abdomen. This was done with coloured pencil.

I'm very jealous of your coloring abilities. Srsly! The tail looks cuddly soft by all the shading and work you put into it. I really like this work! :3 Favd!

Mmmmmmmmmmmm I love those grapes! How they shine! How their shading is so creamy and makes them look like glass jewels! The purple tones are so lush and I dunno......royal! Like, an amazing purple that glistens, and is so rich with color!

, they sag)
They even sag a bit even with a push up corsette...unless its like one of those rib cage crushing monstrosities of the victorian past. But most modern corsettes are not that harsh.
I think the white highlights really make the purple pop, and makes that color appear like its glimmering. I dunno, its hard to explain, but the white highlight goes best with purple so far than any other color. They just work together.
I am so transfixed by Hani's tounge, ahahhahahahh! Its drawn so beautifully!
Your choice in the shading color of the midtone of her brown fur complement each other so very well. That shading color is the perfect choice to make the brown appear vibrant, warm, and full of energy. I think the splendor would not be as interesting if you shaded with just a darker version of the brown midtone
I know what it is now! Because the shaded parts are more on the red side, its warmer and thus really complements the purple, purple being cooler and the brownish reds being warmer. They really mesh well. If you chose a cool color to shade the brown with, it'd be lost with the purple, blended in, and not so interesting.
Basically, great color choices!
I love how you know how to put the white highligher in just the right places, not over doing it but making sure there are glitter spots that really add to the livliness of the piece.
I think you would benefit a bit by looking hard at the white spots, and made the transition from black to the white spots on her thighs, breasts and hair a bit more gradual.
I dun want like 12 shades of gray, but on those parts, the thighs, breasts, and hair highlights should have at least one little lining of gray or silver, just so the contrast isnt so stark. It is kind of unsettling bow harsh the contrasts are.
A simple blending of the black and white would ease up the tension. I mean, if you look at leather, and look at the highlights, they are full of grays and silvers, so to look more leathery, some lighter tones would need to be used (but in the rightw ay so not to make it look like black metal)
A simple study of leather would help you.
I love the anatomy! The arm holding up the grapes is very good, very accurate, and the angle of her head and especially her jaw is well drawn.
I think maybe her fingers could have been longer so to make her look very graceful. Right now they are a bit smaller than correct anatomy dictates.
I loooooooooooooooove the meaty thighs! They are correct in being so, and they have a nice sex appeal.
I am transfixed with how you draw bows. I wish I could draw bows like you, with the graceful lines that run into tapered points. I make my bows ugly square shapes. How would you feel if I told you that when I had to draw a bow for a recent pic, I studied how you did yours? I wanna do mine like youuuuuuuuuuurs! They are so gooooooooooooooooooooooood!
I love how you make brush strokes in general....=w=....so elegant....and they vary in width........
Oh one tlast thing. Hanako's left breast, the one closest to the viewer, seems very detatched from the other. Normally breasts touch each other at the base, their widest parts that are cloest to the chest. They are rarely seperate from each other nor detached where they never touch at the wider bases.
It seems out of place being so far away.
Or, because I just measured my boobs, yes I did....I do have a slight seperation, so its ok to have a seperation, but never farther than...*measures* the length of a person's thumb.
It would probably help to make the beasts more realistic if they sagged a bit (they are heavy sacs of fat, water, and hormones
Boobs do not defy gravity as Tom Preston once said
besides, I like the natural weight of the boobs, they are so much more sexy than those completely round balloons most guys draw
But other than that I'd say you did a 95% great, phenomenal, and accurate job!
Congrats! I love it!
