TG: Marionette.EXE

Mangamad is an awesome artist on DA who loves Bebop.EXE, so when he made an open call to color his character Marionette.EXE I wanted to right away! He wants to see lots of different people attempt different colors so he can choose the color scheme he likes best.

A little about the color scheme I chose: to me she looks very much like a harlequin, or female jester. While most people would want to go for Joker's sidekick's color scheme for that (red, black, and white) I decided to go for colors that seemed more... friendly and traditional. Then I just had to choose what would be which of hte secondary colors. But my beloved thought I was going for just purple and gold at first, and that probably would make a beautiful color scheme as well. I might do this over again like that. ^^ I decided for a two level, cel-shading style because it fits the heavy line art but two levels gives me more of the detail I love (but get tired of so quickly).

And lastly: I encourage anyone who wants to practice coloring and/or has a love of net-navis to give this a try. It's always great fun to match your coloring style to someone else's line arting style.
