All I can say for this one is that for me, looking at it is kind of like watching train wreck videos on YouTube. It's squeeches me out, but it's so awesome I just have to keep looking at it and say "wow, thats just cool to the maxxorz".
And to think I would have just stowed it in a supermarket bag and flung it into the sump behind my house.
Oooh, it's so hard for me to be sympathetic to mice right now. A whole bunch of them got into my closet back home and utterly RUINED everything in it. A good half my book collection, lots of old stories and papers and other precious things...gone. >.> But I can't help finding something interesting and compelling about this image, and its sharp contrast of themes - life and death, purity and decay, beauty and ugliness...even if I can't find myself feeling exceptionally sorry for the mouse right now, heh. ^^' It's interesting how well he (or she) seems to conform to the shape of the flower, though, almost like they were made for each other. OMG, dead mouse/flower is the ultimate OTP.
I hope you're doing okay. School ended here at Johnson on Friday. :)
