I CANNOT THINK OF TITLES LA.
I doodled this sketch and liked it, so I colored it on and off traveling places. There are reasons I like the lineart better and reasons I like the painting better. I did try something new with painting in that I told that whole "color theory" thing to piss the hell off and just threw paint around until it looked okay. It gave me a lot more freedom and made me a lot less paranoid, although really it means that if anyone asks "why do his legs look shiny" or "why did you make her so orange" I'll probably only be able to respond with "SHUT UP IT LOOKS COOL" and then proceed to flop around like a fish.
Don't sit and wait for a boat in the rain unless you've got a tank.

p.p.s. Over time Ansen has turned into a mixture of Lawrence and my boyfriend Deej (see: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v727/Riot13O/comparisons.jpg). Except, y'know. Lawrence is buff and muscular, Deej is thin and tall... and Ansen's just fat.

I don't think you tossed colour theory TOTALLY out the window, it's just called "neutral light source" and works really well when the lightsource has a whole lot of gray clouds covering it up. :3

This is actually really cute. You can see the closeness of the two characters, to spite their obvious disagreement that Amelia should hump Ansen. The painting is lovely, and I've long sense gotten used to Amelia's "spray-can tan".
