I don't really know what category this should actually fit under, watercolor just seems the closest it can be.

The paper is a large piece of Methyl Orange, a acid-base indicator paper. In the presence of an acid (in this case, vinegar), it turns red. Bases have no color change effect. However, if you place the base on the red areas, it will turn back to its original color.

Yes, it looks like any normal splatter art. But it's not. It's science art... Sciart... Yeah.
