A game I never ended up making. Though as you see it here it is quite smooth, playable and functionable (word?) it turned out to be hell to create new levels and features for. Inexperience must have got the better of me and I ended up scrapping it and moving on to other things.

This is the basic engine of a game I plan to make, which will probably stay by the name of Dropship. It currently has all the basic elements as far as the programming goes. New versions of enemies and shots will be based upon the sprites you see, and powerups etc will be made as I go.

I am very proud of this, especially since I've only been self-teaching actionScript for about 3 or 4 months now, and I built this from scratch.

Controls:
WASD - Movement
Mouse - Aim Turret
Click - Fire selected weapon
1, 2, 3 - change weapon, respectively: Machine-cannon, Missiles, Flame-'breath'

Only the blue enemies are effected by the flamer, and you have limmited missile ammo.
