i'm really proud of how this one came out. i decided to try a different technique with colored pencils and it really worked out for me. there are a few things that still need work but i thought i'd still scan it in case i screw it up. the one BIG downfall of colored pencils is that you can't erase >_<
i changed the angle of the face a little bit to make it look like she's really praying. hopefully i didn't overdo it O_o

Somehow I suspect your scanner made it all dotty and/or did not pick up some of the more subtle bits of shading. *sniffs* what I can see looks really good but now I want to see the whole image on paper lol.
PS: I know some of the students in the graphic arts program use razors to very very carefully remove the pigment from the paper if they have to fix something. If you ever need to erase you may want to try that (not suggesting you have/will make a mistake)
