Um . . . Ta da?

Hah. Well, anyway, KUDOS to my first picture of '08 (and it's MAY, lol. ), and KUDOS to getting Painter! Huzzah!

Welp, what to say first-- well, I would like to say crummy things about this picture (as there is an abundance of them), but I will refrain, because being pessimistic just gets people grumpy. And who wants that, y'know?

Anyhoo, this is the first in a series of (presumably) six portrait-type things I'm going to do, all of OC's (don't die just yet) from the 'good guys' cast of a novel I've just about finished. Ladies first, guys later (because I rot at them . . . er-- *stuffs tissue in mouth* hehe).

This lovely lady -or mediocre lady, that depends on your opinion I s'pose- is a side-character, who goes by the name Andrea (or Andy, if you're trying to insult her.). Andy-- er, Andrea, that is, is a young, twenty-something archer who lives by herself in a town in the northern region, comfortably nestled in the valley of the Indigo Mountains.
The downside to the scenic nature of her home is all her pesky, jerky neighbors, whom she grudgingly puts up with 95% of the time.
Why are her neighbors pesky and jerky, you ask?
Well, first of all, they are inherently jerks. Andrea's town isn't known to be a friendly, clean community. There's a whole lotta shifty characters where she lives.
And Andrea's an archer, and when you've got nit-picky, hypocritical neighbors, they love to point and say "UNFEMININE!!!".
But Andrea shrugs her shoulders-- she's stuck where she is, and when it comes between her having to be a town guard and getting ridiculed, she'd rather have that than have to marry one of the shifty characters she's surrounded by.
Don't be confused, though-- Andrea's not feminist or anything like that, she'd happily marry some sweetheart and toss her bow and arrows into the fireplace. Sadly, the opportunity has yet to present itself.
She's not one of those butchy, tougher-than-you girls, either.
She's a bit naive, and all though she can shoot those arrows like it's no one's business, she'd be quick to say her male team mates are the buttkickers, and that's their job. Even if she actually did fight better than them.

Yah, well, that was long.
Pardon my rambles. And any spelling/grammatical errors, too.

NEXT UP: Gwen (yet again. I've made some changes )

Andwea is mine.
Art is also mine. </3
