In the darkness of my mind,
Which fades from you and I,
I think of the time,
When you were by my side,
With every thought I feel a rush,
And then it died within your touch.

You were the birth of my hatred,
And the end of my sufrage,
I'm tired of letting everyone know,
Why is it that you can't show,
Whatever love I give to you,
It is taken, forsaken, and made untrue.

This love is only in my mind,
Where I do try to hide,
Find me a reason why not to die,

These shadows are seaping into my rest.
