Nocturn

In night's essence, after twilight,
Seperate from all daylight's strife.
Anger, fear, the hot sun sleeping
time is killed when given life.

Midnight hour's silent choir,
Singing softly, no one hears...
Superficial daylight quarrels
shatter, all but disappear.

Quiet, listen, close your eyes,
hear their silent song.
Inhale the dark, a solomn peace,
Devoid of grief stretched long.

Nocturn creatures rise and sing
stories; Time without a king,
where the only danger near
is your mind when full of fear.

So calm yourself, remember the night,
when dawn comes and with it the light.

My views on the nightime some are so afraid of ^^ To me, night brings a peace that the day will never be able to hold. I love it.
