the Fallen King

the Fallen King

The fallen king of serpent times
a toxic riddle, runic rhymes.
Adorned with fury, beauty wise
lies waiting for its own demise.

The serpent king of ancient times
sees through you and all your crimes.
Reflected in the eyes of black
is seen a demon, staring back.

The ancient king of ending times
bids no farewell as down he climbs
dragging feather through the mud,
excaping the oncoming flood.

The ending king of evil times
stops to listen; final chimes
of a forgotten, screaming earth,
its adorned crown goes without worth.

The evil king of fallen times
killed every one of the fake mimes
and after seeing all the lies
is waiting for its own demise.

The whole theme of this poem isn't exactly my cup of tea, but I do however admit that this is well written.
The whole repetition of "the ____ king of _____ times" really kept the piece together.
The third stanza of this kinda fell apart rhythm wise, up until that point it was easy and fun to read, then it kinda crashed and you had to re-read it, so I suggest playing around with the wording there.
Over all good job! (sorry if I sound so analytical, school eats my brains)
