Design:
Inspired by jousting knights in shining armor, the "Lance" is equipped with a long cannon, which can extend into a powerful rail gun. It is also armed with a battering ram which can collect solar rays and fire a concentrated beam of light towards its target.
This unmanned drone was designed for space defense and clean-up operations, shooting down dead satellites, orbiting space debris, dangerous asteroids and other "unauthorized" objects within its vicinity.
Boss/Stage Description:
In order to lose a SUBA in hot pursuit, high above Ethonia's atmosphere, you decide to blend in with a few pieces of orbiting space debris. Unfortunately, an orbital defense drone has detected your unauthorized presence and now has you in its cross-hairs.
Fly below the clouds and take it out! The "Lance"'s combat ability is severely decreased while within the atmosphere. Use this to your advantage.

Mmm that thing looks really cool. Also, the detail is great. Not too much, but also not too little.
is it supposed to have just the one thruster/engine? seems like it would have a hard time maneuvering if that was the case. Cool idea though.
