Nice Hat

These are two characters from the Kamishibai Community Project "NEKP". Where authors take turns making episodes, its all cool.

The two characters are specifically Jisella Blaze and Cole Swartz. Jisella is basically the leader of the group. She's a bounty hunter who has the elemental power of fire. Cole is a transporter (known for transporting anything you want even if it's deadly). It's pretty established in the community that these two probably had a relationship before the current part of the story.

I thought it would be a cute idea to show them as lovers being silly. She's wearing his trademark coat (he like...never takes it off) and he's wearing her hat (given to her by her aunt) and poncho. A lot of times in erotic art the tone is so sexually serious. I wanted this to be...comfortable and funny. The idea came from the book "The Color Purple" where one character mentions how when she and "Mister" were together he tried on her dress and she tried on his pants (recall back in those time women NEVER wore pants)

The concept is translatable.
