This is just a WIP, but I thought I would test record what I had written so far, and see whether or not people feel I should continue working on it or move onto something else. The style may sound like Nightwish, and if so, I don't mind.
I have multiple styles I kind of want to try out, and right now I am interested in doing something with a 90's nu-metal sound (except vocals) which may sound like a mix of Coal Chamber and Drowning Pool. However, I needed to get some of this out of my system first. If people think I should continue with this, I think I will leave it instrumental, or I will try to get a female vocalist for it (one already in mind).
Soooo yeah. Tweakitytweakitytweak.
Oh yeah, if the mixing and mastering is bad, I apologize, I did this all in a short amount of time I guess, too lazy to wait a day to listen back.

The twinkly bell/whatever COULD maybe be replaced by a different, similar sample. (personal pref, though) and the guitar from :38 to :52 seems a TAD bit out of place. Maybe a different transition? I don't know. I appear to fail at thinking properly at 5 in the morning. It's a great sounding song, regardless, and I'd say continue work on it. I'd like to hear an instrumental AND a vocal version, if you do end up adding vocals. Great job, I think.

Very nice! While I agree with Cobalt about replacing that twinkly bell (at least at the beginning where it's practically the only instrument), I think overall you have a VERY nice piece and I agree--I'd love to see it both as an instrumental and with vocals!

Pretty cool man, you should definitely try and finish it. The mixing wasn't too great, but that's easily fixed. Overall it'll be a cool track. I also thought the initial synth thing you had going could have a variation, where the notes aren't individual notes but one long legato kind of thing where the pitch changes are all one with a pitch bend. I think it could sound really cool like that.

Sounds great so far, sans the mixing, but eh that should change in time! I'd love to be the one to throw vocals down for this song when it's done. Sounds something like a Wintersun song a bit, something I find very easy to let myself go to!
