This is waaaay overdue.
asked me to do a marker piece of her phoenix pony, Keypsake Rose, back in November, I think. I did Prismas instead, because they're so darn fun. xD Plus, it'd work better with Keypsake's near-invisible splashes.
I'm rather disappointed with my scanner, no surprise. It ate most of the color. I had kept to the real Keypsake's spots, rather than the PI pony one's, but they're there, somewhere. I also had a butterfly type splash in the joining wings, which didn't show up. Stupid scanner. :c
It looks better in person. Honestly. xD

you did a wonderful job with her colors, i know they're there (and whether in mind's eye or i have a really HD screen, i can see them enough).

Try adjusting some settings on your scanner... There's a window on mine where you can adjust how light or dark it scans. If you can find that setting, I'd suggest putting it to the next lowest level, and see what that does. It really helps a lot with those lighter colors. :)
And y'know, it's freaky. I'm working on a pony drawing in almost exactly that same pose. O.o
