It had just turned lunch time at the Whoville Jr. High School. Nami Castell, who's an art teacher there was busy drawing out her next plans on the board. That's when she got an unexpected visitor, The Mayor of Whoville, Ned O' Malley. He double checked everything to make sure that his schedule would be free for this. "N-NAMI!" His eyebrows lifted nervously as that never ending smile stayed on his face. Spooked by his voice Nami dropped the chalk then laughed with a smile on her face.
He stumbled and grinned even more nervously as he tried to compose himself. "Ned?? What're you doing here?? " She questioned curiously, normally she didn't see him until later in the day if at all. Especially with Sally being gone and him taking care of most of those kids.
"OOHH uhgmn hgarrbh... I-I Dunno I just kinda was hoping that you'd go out to lunch with me! I cleared my whole schedule so we could spend time! Whatta ya say??" A giant smile placed on his face as he eagerly awaited her reply.
"Oohh, Ned but I've got grading to do and..." She noticed that puppy-dog face appear on his face and she sighed.
"C'MON! You can forget these for just a little while can't you...?" Quickly his slippery hands closed the book and looked at her. The next thing he threw was the marker and grinned.
"Oh Why not...? It's too tempting of an offer to pass.." Nami wrapped her arm around him and smiled warmly. His silliness always managed to snag her. :heart: :love:
Yeah, Nami can be a tease with him sometimes..
She'll do almost anything to make that guy happy...! But, he's too funny not to tease and pick on just a little. Sorry if it's a little corny, I was kinda rushed. Maybe I'll re-write it sometime.
