This is a character from one of my many many many insanity sprees, A.K.A. stories.
No info on her, as that would spoil the story quite a bit.
I will, however, tell you a few things about...
Not really happy with the face or shoes...
I know the arms are slightly ill-proportioned.
Was made while listening to a portion of Loituma.
She is not "goth" or "emo" or any of your other stereotypes. (She wears black. So? xD)
I was thinking about drawing her holding her umbrella behind her back, but that would've most likely made the GIMP die repeatedly, and made this take way longer than it should.
I had a layer for everything. (Unique lineart and colouration and shading layers for hat, head, hair, body, and shoes. Including the watermark, and the two blurred-out colour blobs she's standing on, that makes 18 layers. xD)
This is a fairly final design for her, but... Some minor tweaks will occur, most likely, in the next artwork.
I put this under Cartoon & Comic since that's as close to "anime & manga" as it gets in the categoriziation. xD
