You guys may know by now that I am a fan of Zelda. Wanted to do some traditional art.
I would like tips on skin color and for getting rid of some of that grain. Thank you for all Critique.
This pose is from Link's Crossbow Training.
I do not own Legend Zelda, nor do I pretend to own it, nor any of it's characters.
The picture color was done largely from memory, the pose copied directly from the game art.

Nice lighting. I don't really see any differences (other than he has no pupils
). I like it.

I like the coloring alot! You did great on the folds too.
The only thing that bugs me are the eyes; they're not exactly the same shape..
BenGrauArt Says:
the grains that pencils give add a special touch and make it look more like traditional art
unless you want it smooth then I recommend working on a larger surface since the scanner will
photograph the image at a large depth which annoys me cuz my water colors come off as pencil
or pastel.... sigh
I would advise or centralizing the mouth and eyes to keep the proper proportion in check
this is a really great drawing. I hope this helps, me I was planning on doing a chibi story using Link
and a few other characters but I have n times what with college and unrequited love and that crap LOL

WOW. While I agree with the advice BenGrauArt gave you, I think the colors here are OUTSTANDING. Great work making him blaze off the page!
