My Holiday Card for Winter 2004. I love gryphons, but we don't get lions and eagles in our yard - we get cardinals and squirrels instead! He's a very stylized mix of both (I took liberties with anatomy too). Pencil, Photoshop, Illustrator. Parchment background.

This was one of the most cretive cards I have ever recieved! I am in love with the colopur scheme you chose for the cardinal and the final product with the cut and torn edges makes it look at the more antiquish and authentic

OMG! That would an awsome card to get in the mail. I love how you came up with a similiar concept to the Gryphon by using a cardinal and a squrriel, it's very adorable. Nice line art and colouring too!
