Why?
I seldom submit anything written on Sheezy, hell this would be my 5th one I believe. I’m not sure what drove me to writing in 2:18am but some odd feeling, akin to sadness and questioning sort of got me out of bed to do so. Bear with me; this is honestly the first thing I’ve ever written seriously. And to get this out of the way: I don’t plan on holding arguments on cases that will be discussed here; you’re entitled to your own opinions and the ability to view this. Thanks.
Now, I’m not sure if I’m actually correct on this sort of matter, but after a few ages of actually seeing something like this, I can safely say that…We need drama, don’t we? We like strife, we like arguments, we like doing shit just because it annoys the hell of someone else; we like to hurt others because of a sole difference. We’re not perfect creatures, there’s never such a thing, and perfection is seen in many different ways by people who see it in their own way. So I ask, and ask, time and time again. I don’t want a clear answer, but just some basic understanding of Why. Why do we hate on people who are in too deep into something they love? Why must we insist of going out of our way to make fun of them and tell them that their way of doing things are wrong? What is it exactly, that people want from others? Do we do things simply for the nature that we humans have a tendency to convert others into seeing what they are expected to see in someone else’s point of view because we don’t like it? I’m no exception, I am writing this after all. But only to get answers I assure you.
Why, I ask again, why do we not leave the people, actions, and things we don’t like alone? I mean, I know there’s a time and place where some actions may and can be extreme (As in governing the way someone “should” live correctly; in other words, individuality.) I know it’s hard for some people to go on about just leaving it alone and go on their merry way, we tend to go on and step into someone’s personal paradise because it looks different…But why can’t we? Let them live their lives, let them do what they want to do, yes there are boundaries, if we think it’s wrong then let us just stay there and THINK it’s wrong, we don’t have to mess it up for the other guy because he’s having fun in a different way. Do we?
I’ve come up with several theories, might be incorrect, but they could be believable:
Theory 1: The way we were brought up always has the ability to change what we perceive in life, what we think is Right or Wrong., when we were kids, our parents usually brought us up based on what they think is Right or Wrong and things like that tend to go to their Offspring.
Theory 2: Media. It’s like I said before, people wanting to change what we see, to make their “perfection” ours. But on a Multimedia scale.
Theory 3: ???
Theory 4: Profit!!
Honestly, I could only think up of 2 Theories, rather…things I’ve pondered about and asked people but they ended up looking at me funny. This writing, this entire thing has some hypocritical views, I never excluded myself out of any of these things, try as I might. But it’s just what I think, and like I said, I don’t want to start any arguments about it, I’d like to avoid them if at all possible (Miracles don’t happen often.).
This is my view from my eyes, my opinion, and what I generally think. No one else’s.
Thanks for reading, by the way.
