My Stargate Birthday Cake

I had no idea what category to put this in.

I had made my own cake for my birthday back on January 22nd :) Being the HUGE Stargate fan that I am this is what I wanted to do, that and the fact that Richard Dean Anderson's 58th birthday was the day after mine

it was a 2-layered Vanilla flavored cake with whipped frosting. When I was mixing the colors it looked gray before it started dry, but then when it started to dry it turned out looking a bit purple. but close enough I say. and for the lights of the Chevrons I cut up Dried Apricots
